Day Support Activities Near Lake Oswego, Oregon
North Star Oregon does not currently operate a Day Support Activities (DSA) location in Lake Oswego or anywhere in the Portland metro. In-home attendant care is the service we provide locally. Our existing DSA programs are in the Willamette Valley — Albany, Corvallis, Eugene, Springfield, Salem, and Tangent — along with our Grants Pass location in southern Oregon.
DSA is the part of the I/DD system that provides structured, group-based day programming for adults — a place to go during the day, with peers, staff support, and planned activities. For families who rely on DSA, the absence of a local option is a real gap, and we don't want to gloss over it. Some Lake Oswego adults attend DSA programs run by other Portland-metro providers; others use a combination of attendant care hours and community-based supports to build a weekly rhythm without a formal day program.
